2011 is the the start of the Kaleikini-Patterson Thanksgiving celebration. We met up at the Ale House and enjoyed a meal together. We are extremely thankful for the Pattersons. They have been such a blessing to us! We met them in our labor and delivery class and our boys are one week apart. How special that our next babies will be about eight weeks apart!

We decorated our Christmas tree and put up the rest of the decorations on Thanksgiving morning while watching the Macy's Parade. I think this may be a new tradition for us. It was so nice to clean up from Thanksgiving and enjoy the Christmas lights throughout the house as the day ended.

| The finished Kaleikini Christmas tree...Joey and I keep marveling at how it is our all time favorite tree! Looks like showing up at Lowe's the day BEFORE Thanksgiving pays off! |
This year, we celebrated Thanksgivig at our home with Joey's mom. We enjoyed lots of food and good company! This is the first year since 2004 that I have made the Thanksgiving feast mostly on my own. Joey grilled our turkey (it was amazing) and Mabel made the gravy and brought some appetizers. Other than that, I spent two days cooking and baking getting ready for our feast! I really enjoyed planning it and putting it all together!

| Day before prep: dressing, pumpkin pie, and Great-great-great-great-great grandma's egg noodles! |

What a great Thanksgiving we had! We have so much to be thankful for: our family (including our church family), health, Joey's job, everything God has provided for us, and especially our newest Kaleikini family member!
