September 11th Remembrance at the Rays Game

Carrying the flag in to the stadium.

Joey and the guys from his squad are at the end taking pictures of the pitchers warming up!

Joey is the guy holding the second red stripe from the left, and wearing the white shirt.

Koa lasted longer than we did!

Special and fun day at the park!
Belinda, a deputy on Joey's squad, was asked to sing the National Anthem. She did such an amazing job, I had to post the video I took!

We LOVE the PARK and READING!

Joey and I always have to laugh because I think this is how Koa spends most of his time at the park right now...looking at the cool stuff on the ground!

He looks like such a big boy up on the couch. Makes me laugh when he uses Kimo or Naia as a step stool to get up here. They don't mind at all!

Some of Koa's entourage he likes to sleep with: Scout, Honey Bunny, Cordy Roy, Teddy, Weddy, and Glow Worm.

Koa led story time.
 Pool Days

Koa was happy to play with his toys while standing on the ledge in the pool. I love his water wings!

Snack time and then a nap ended this pool day!

Here is our new backyard pool. We set it up under the shade canopy and it's not too hot back there!

Stay hydrated!

Story Time at the Public Library

Koa likes to meet his buddy at the library for story time. At the end of this week's the story telling lady said, "I don't have any stickers, but what I do have is a polar bear. You may give him a hug and kiss goodbye if you would like." Before I could tell Koa to go say bye to the bear, he was RUNNING with his arms outstretched toward the bear. I had time to get my phone out and take a picture!

Making a Wish

Favorite activity at the mall, but not sure what he is wishing for!

Mandatory Fun: Zoo

Petting the Stingrays

Picnic Timeout

Playing in the water and cooling off!

Wiped out from his mandatory fun day and trying out his new pillow! Thanks, Grandpa and Grandma Kaleikini!
 Family Beach Day

Joey had a day off in the middle of the week and we took advantage by going to the beach. We got out there pretty early before it was too hot, had a picnic lunch, and then headed home. Koa even napped for the first half hour and gave Mommy and Daddy some time to relax!

Oh Costco...

We went to dinner with Joey's mom and then to Costco where Koa had his first Mickey Mouse experience and we brought home a new family member.

Koa's New Friend
 Unwelcome Visitor

All of the rain has brought some creepy crawlies in from the nature preserve behind our house. Joey was looking out the back door and saw this guy suspended in our hibiscus tree and looking in our house. Eeewww!!!! I did not see a bunny outline in his body, so I really do think the baby bunny grew up and hopped away to live happily ever after!
