We had a nice beach morning with the extended family and Koa ate his first big boy peanut butter and jelly (he took bites instead of having it cut up for him). Koa and Oakley rode back to the car in a modified double stroller!
We said bye to Grandpa and Grandma Shafer. It was so nice spending time with them!
The backyard brought us a couple of HUGE cucumbers and some kind of allergic reaction for Naia! She looked hideous! After some wet wash cloths and wiping of her face, her puffiness went away!
Koa's best buddy, Gaine, came over to stay the night. Joey and I really enjoyed watching these two play together. I'm pretty sure at their developmental stage, they are supposed to play next to each other, but these two are making up their own games and playing chase!
Window-Block-Game is a favorite!
Spontaneous hugging is so sweet!
Story time before bed...
Here is one of my favorite nap pictures-
The last Saturday in July was a busy one. Joey had an all day tournament an hour outside of Tampa in one direction and I had a baby shower to go to thirty minutes outside of Tampa in the opposite direction. We started the day nice and early at the ball field, left to go to the shower (Koa napped in the car), and then drove back out for the rest of the tournament. Koa was a trooper and did a good job cheering for Joey's team by yelling "purpah" for "Go Purple." I was really excited to see my friend, Jess, for her baby shower and to also see Joey's team win the tournament! What a good day!
We enjoyed brunch after church with Joey's mom!
