He is very proud of himself when I tell him to put his dirty clothes in the hamper and he can do it all by himself. He runs to the "eatin' seat" when we tell him it's time to eat, brings us books and backs himself up to sit on our laps to listen to the book (I love that one), and is learning NOT to push the dining room table chairs around the house (he has experienced time out for that one).
Fourth of July
Joey has to work the parade each year, so we went to the parade for the second year in a row and watched Daddy and the parade. Koa loved watching the horses and motorcycles. Joey's favorite part of the parade was the mini horses running past (I got his picture with them).

After the parade, we went over to our friend, Christy's house. We really enjoyed hanging out and eating some good food. Unfortuntely, I only snapped a couple of pictures while we were there! Notice one of the pictures I DID take was of the anual fruit salad flag! Koa was so tuckered out from a busy day of celebrating our Country's Independence that he was asleep before we even made it out of the neighborhood!

Funny Story
So,I came across the "Deal or No Deal" electronic game that we got for Christmas a couple of years ago from Joey's mom. I decided Koa would love playing with it since it has buttons and makes noise. Don't you know that the first time he plays with it, he wins the million dollars?!!! I can't count the number of times Joey and I have played that thing and NEVER won the million. He won by randomly mashing buttons. Time to take Little Bear to Vegas!
Sidewalk Art
It stopped raining long enough after lunch the other day to go out and make Daddy a picture on the drive way while he was at work. Koa did a great job of playing with chalk for the first time.

Sunken Gardens Picnic
Today we went to the Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg and had a picnic with Brian, Ashley, and Oakley. The gardens were beautiful and it wasn't too hot in the shade. Koa enjoyed walking around and exploring. At one point, we were trying to get Koa to follow us, so we told Oakley to go hold his hand. They walked hand in hand for quite some time. It was precious!
